Risk Management Framework

UNSW Library
As a leading global university, UNSW operates in a dynamic and complex environment that introduces a wide range of risks that may impact the University's ability to achieve its goals or operational objectives. The Risk Management Division provides a framework for managing and evaluating risk, which typically involves identifying particular events or circumstances relevant to the organisations objectives (risks and opportunities), assessing them in terms of likelihood and magnitude of impact, determining a response strategy and monitoring progress.

By identifying and proactively addressing risks and opportunities, UNSW can protect and create value for their stakeholders.  Risk Management is evolving to address the needs of various stakeholders, who want to understand the broad spectrum of risks facing UNSW to ensure they are appropriately managed.
